Sahar Nakayama saat berusia 13 tahun sudah berhasil menghafal Alquran 30

Sahar sendiri memiliki keinginan menjadi Hafizah pada usia 5 tahun. Saat itu ia termotivasi berkat temannya yang ingin menjadi seorang penghafal Alquran dan dia juga ingin melakukan hal yang sama. Sejak itu, akhirnya Sahar belajar huruf Arab dan setahun kemudian ia mulai menghafal Alquran saat usianya enam tahun.
Cita-cita yang sejak kecil ia inginkan tercapai di usianya yang masih sangat muda. Hal itu tak lepas dari dukungan dan bimbingan guru mengajinya, Niezz Muhammad yang berasal dari Pakistan.

“Aku biasa ke masjid untuk belajar dan menghafal Alquran. Awalnya menghafal setengah halaman sehari dan setelah berhasil menghafal setengah dari ALquran, lalu aku menghafal satu halaman per hari. Aku membacakan apa yang sudah aku hafal di hadapan guruku,” kata Sahar.
Menurut dia, surat terakhir yang dihafal adalah Al-Baqarah. Saat itu gurunya menginginkan Sahar menjadi Hafizah di Bulan Ramadhan, maka di bulan itu Sahar diminta menghafal dua halaman per hari.
“Aku menghabiskan waktu tujuh tahun untuk bisa menghafal seluruh Alquran,” kata Sahar. Ia juga memiliki keinginan untuk mengajarkan Alquran kepada orang lain.
Anak pertama dari empat bersaudara itu, kini telah beranjak dewasa. Remaja 18 tahun asal Tokyo itu saat ini tengah menempuh pendidikan kelas tiga SMA di sekolah umum Jepang. Impiannya untuk mempelajari Islam lebih dalam lagi, masih terpatri dalam benaknya. Ia memiliki impian untuk kuliah di Arab.
